At 340 bucks material that wont cover it. 340 bucks will cover the craftsman style trim (maybe) but wont touch the flex at all. . 

If it were me, the cabinets are shaker, (which is still in style), I would sand and paint cabinets white or light gray.

I grew up in an immigrant poverty area of Minneapolis, row style apartments that became a bit famous for a time as "Americas Deadliest 10 Blocks" nicknamed "Murderapolis", that is where I grew up.

Shared bathroom, shared kitchen, different styles, different noise levels.

I use rubbermade still as I just can’t justify $200 for packout style locking / nesting ones with a built in dolly when $4 x 3 and my already in the corner dolly will do the same.

@Sean Keating I have quite a few apartment buildings with this style of heating, and you can pretty much always make repairs as necessary.
