When you click on their 'Real Estate Brokerage' page, there are no broker profiles listed and they say  "...we launched Equity Realty, a real estate brokerage that works in collaboration with our law firm."

I bet we could collaborate on those.. what I see there is not a lot of arch diversity and pretty straight forward.. but one must know how to handle the local city officials.. boy it can be very frustrating in IL to be rehabbing and building.. with all the different entities who have a say

I always try to be as collaborative and empathetic as I can possibly be while still protecting my buinsess interests: sometimes a conversation goes a long way to soften the blow.

You would have to reach out to your network in MI but if you collaborate with them in some type of partnership I think it might be a good first investment tool to utilize.You would minimize your risk by partnering, reduce your capitol expenditure, taxes and you'd have eyes andears on your investment.

It can create more of a collaborative feeling atmosphere client/architect/contractor as long as everyone is on the same page.
