What I consider brokering is the facilitation of buying and selling something between 2 or more parties with the expectation of getting paid somehow from the deal.Without getting into specifics of what exactly I’m looking to do, I’m really at the point of wanting to make sure I’m legal and compliant here in the US.

Most people think it is the RE agent that does all of this, and a good one will also help facilitate the transaction, but in CA at least, it is my experience that it is the escrow company that normally does all the heavy lifting to get the transaction through to close.
