I now work in healthcare and wanting to get back into the swing of hammering again with buying multi-family fixer uppers.

I am a very excited to join BiggerPockets & ready to soak up as much knowledge as possible before making the leap into RE investing.I would eventually love to transition from healthcare to FT investor, but realize this will take some time.

Appreciation has been better in nicer west settings than here is my guess, but with an. employment base of ag, hydro power and  healthcare , I think rents here survived 08-11 better for the most  part.  

I have friends in Canada that HATE their "Free" health care.

Based on a story I heard on NPR, the reasoning for kicking this particular can down the road, so to speak, is to give congress time to figure out just what the heck they are going to do with health care. 

Do you cover health care, fitness, uniforms, tools on your business?

You WILL prevail on the tax payer to bail you out if become seriously ill-- you will not curl up in a ball and die and say well I can't afford health care so I won't take it. 

It's clear from the recent ordeal to get the health care bill past that Washington can't solve all our problems.
