There are costs involved, and you really have to look at where those costs break even with the payment relief.

Sure in a named storm event like Harvey, banks will grant some relief but even that wasn't enough for some folks.I think you need to understand if the property flooded ONLY during Harvey or if it flooded prior to that.

Adding a 3rd bedroom in lower unit is not an option.Top unit: Currently has reliable tenant (couple) paying $1,345/month (this is maxed out in my opinion) This unit has potential to be a 2 bedroom but must be advertised as a 1 bedroom b/c the top attic floor bedroom needs an 'Area of Relief '/fire escape in order to bring it up to code as a 2 BR.

I've seen so many posts on this, but I want more insight.I'm a new investor in Charlotte NC (and surrounding areas), and am wondering what you expect the market to do in the coming months.I know a lot of this will change if there is any additional stimulus, or mortgage relief, etc.
