So the wife, 3 months pregnant, went home to Houston and bought the house.

I did the work myself, minus rough-in plumbing, fully permitted in my “spare” time from a full-time job as an operations manager, a pregnant wife, a 1 year old, and 2 60lb dogs in about 5 months.

Managing a single property shouldn't be too difficult - but some people are just not cut out for property management - i.e  - they are too nice or don't like confrontation - you have to ask yourself if are able evict a pregnant woman who is 2 months behind on rent...are you willing to raise your tenants rents each year?

Also we learned how hard it is to renovate a home with 4 kids and pregnant with the 5th and at the time it was only Justin and myself doing all he work.

My wife wife really isn’t on board to rent out rooms or half the house seeing as we have a two year old and she’s pregnant.
