Unfortunately, the wheels of justice turn slowly.

Now, I'm not saying we were racially profiled, but a Greek dual citizen married to a Russian nationalized citizen with plenty of Eastern European associates and friends...hell, if I was the Justice Department, I would want a closer look at us, too and good for them for doing their jobs.

I spoke with the justice of the peace for the area my rental is in and notified him that I did receive a 30 day notice in text form.

In Texas, evictions are heard by the Justice of the Peace who are elected officials that are not necessarily bound by precedent.
