I work part time right now as a personal trainer at a private gym and plan on having saved around $5,000, possibly more, by the time I move out (I will be 18 by then) Im also taking real estate classes right now and hope to have my license by mid summer.

IN the meantime, I am constantly getting educated with 1 hour daily on this site, reading for 1 hour and listening to the podcast at the gym.  

Over time, I watched businesses close and move out, the center fall into disrepair, it become virtually abandoned by the out-of-state owner, and finally clinging to life with the faint pulse of a sole business - a modestly successful local gym.

There's no formal classification, it's a subjective measure.A - new construction, lots of amenities (nice pool, gym, garages, business center, etc.).  

Kind of like gyms used to get you to commit to a contract.

At the gym alone I have met brokers, investors, other agents etc..

One wanted to work with me until he realized what kind of distressed properties I was interested in....another couldn't find time between watching hockey and going to the gym.  

The more amenities the more costs (pools, tennis courts, gyms, etc.) 

Starbucks at either Southpoint (by the Save Ons) or Grandview (beside Steve Nash gym) could work for me early next week.  

Don't want another commute once I get here.Want neighborhood/condo/townhouse community to not have crime issues, and would be nice if it had exercise amenities (but lots of gyms nearby, so probably just as easy to join one of them)Price <$125KWill be looking to make an offer in March-AprilI appreciate any advice on neighborhoods/communities to look for that would fit some/most/all of these goals!
