I am just getting into real estate investing and don't really know anyone in the industry. What are the best ways to network?

    @Kyle Spearin

    Great question! Lots of ways to network but I will tell you my favorite and then add a few more...

    1. Use the search bar on BP to look up people in your area and then send them a PM asking if they would be willing to meet for coffiee sometime to share some REI tips. Pick their brain about their story! You will learn a ton and get to know someone awesome in the process. I have done this a good many times during the last few years

    2. Real Estate meet ups. Look for these on meetup.com, or just search the web

    3. Call local landlords and ask if you can take them out to lunch (non BP perspective) this is good as these are usually the older non Tec savvy investors

    4. Talk to everyone! As a new person to REI I was surprised how many people invest in Real Estate. It was like the red car story.

    Good luck out there and keep phishing forward.
