Stuff gets into the insulation under the house and can be smelled inside the house.Treat the cabinets under the sinks with bleach.

I was advised to use a "biocide" but later I found that seems to be a generic term for a lot of things.EPA says not to use bleach, to use detergent instead.

Wood cabinets can also be refinished by stripping off the top coat (varnish, polyurethane, etc.) and either sanded down to bare wood, bleached, or just re-topped with a clear finish or a stain and finish like Minwax Polyshades.

Yeah you have to rip up the carpet, bleach the floor and seal with Kilz, but this only costs $100 or so + flooring.

I have hired a service that removes roof stains, first with a bleach solution then a LOW pressure sprayer - slowly over the roof surface - which makes the roof look like new.

All are brand name name shaw or Mohawk.I had one person offer me a smart Mohawk product that you can bleach but it is almost 3 times the price.
