Stick-on backsplash?

*Remove Living Room carpet and damaged kitchen flooring*Install laminate floors in living room and kitchen*Have kitchen cabinets refinished/restored (cheaper than new set)*marble backsplash and surround for fireplace*tile half-bath downstairs floor and replace vanity*remove half-bath downstairs weird rattan wall covering, paint*paint all walls*replace polybutelene with better pipes*tile upstairs baths, add new vanitiesThanks for any and all insights.

So I didn't do a nautical or beach theme I did a highly upgraded tropical theme.Removed all carpet and installed tile, granite countertops with a brick backsplash.

I dont want to go above and beyond with like back splash and granite tops.

Or the previous week I installed a back splash in a kitchen that took us 3 hours to put up and 1 hr to grout.

Stay away from overly loud backsplash or kitchen tiles and stay away from black on white modern farmhouse and opt for earth tones.

We spent about $8,000 for all new laminate flooring, complete repainting, tiled backsplash and new counter tops, and complete retiling of the bathroom including walls and floor (with marble inlay, very nice).The new tenants are a nice young couple about to have a baby.
