There was actually already a law like this on the books in Oklahoma for years that had not been enforced for ages but could have been (it was poorly written as it said that that it did not apply to "Indians" born in the US,  I assume they meant native americans and not Indians from India). 

Not to say the agent you worked with was in this situation, but a great agent should be able to read the opposite agent and situation, pick up the fact the seller was screwing you over, and react accordingly. 

If you're concerned about how the yard looks, I would recommend using grass seed that is native to Texas and can handle the heat in addition to xeriscaping to save on water.

Hey Derrick,I am native to Greensboro and just joined BP as well.   

I specialize in STRs on the Emerald Coast, am native to Panama City, and I own 4 STRs here myself.  

So to test this to see how the realtor reacts, you can study about neighborhoods, and focus on an A neighborhood and D neighborhood (you can generally find this online).

If they're able to read & react, I will come out okay.
