The occupant of the house (not the approved tenant) was a drug dealers and believe that my maintenance man was a threat of some sort.

However, start with attorney doing "threat letters", see if you can place liens or cross collateralize other assets (or threaten too); get legal advice sooner than later.

I once had someone put down a deposit, sign and initial that if they canceled without giving proper notice that the deposit would not be refunded, and then when they canceled and didn't get their deposit, they stared making threats.
