Nothing steals the joy of owning a toy like payment to the bank each month. 

Every time I want a new toy or a liability, my agreement with my wife is that I just have to do another deal that pays for it and allocate those funds appropriately.

Folks scaled down on their autos and toys so they could afford shelter and qualify.. 

We still camp in our toy hauler and are doing an RV trip in a rented Class C in a couple weeks but the month or two on the road just isn't feasible with my employment and the kids schedules but some day . . .Welcome!

I've been toying with the idea of investing out-of-state (Nevada, Oregon, Arizona), but am thinking I would rather have something a bit more close by especially for my first investment property to reduce the probable headache. 

Toying with furnishing it for the holidays, and then for travel nurses or cooperate housing.

I've toyed with the idea of a Lake Union house boat, but that is mostly because I think it would be fun to use.
