While this does happen in other areas of the country it is unique to specifically FL and the south west.  

My quick stab...Steamboat Springs, CO (Southwest just started flying here, ranked best ski town last year)Summit County, CO (sheer population boom to Denver is no brainer)Lake Tahoe, CA (second home boom in Truckee, Incline Village, etc. areas from mass exodus of Bay Area) Park City, Utah (proximity to airport and large/growing population base)Not sure of #5, maybe Stowe VT (Burlington) area 

Very interested in partnering, but if not check out the West End/Southwest Atlanta areas(especially for holds).

After chasing what seemed like a hundred SFHs in a hot market (North Dallas suburbs -- where Toyota and everyone else appears to be moving), we found a small, older office/retail building in southwest Dallas.

I am on the near southwest side (Oak Park/Berwyn area), and have some good contacts.

I'd love to find an opportunity like this in Southwest Michigan.

The outer rings of Denver to consider (to name only a few): Barnum/Barnum West and Athmar Park, and Westwood to a lesser degree, all just southwest of downtown Denver.Westminster, northwest of Denver.

Another good neighborhood I'd recommend you take a look at is Mountain's Edge in south west of Vegas.
