In the meantime try to shake it off and see what other quirky and unique properties are out there.

Starting long distance makes this easy, if you start with units that are close you create a dynamic of comfort to being close, which is not ideal.being close to a house doesn't give you any real benefit unless you intend to personally go there and shake down a tenant. otherwise long distance will offer better options and teach you valuable lessons that are widely unspoken and undervalued on BP.

Tourist trap and it's not good.Instead, go to:Big shakes hot chicken and fish, Princes hot chicken, Pepperfire, 400 Degrees.Those places serve real hot chicken. 

So he just goes on with his line, and you just have to shake your head and walk away.

@Anthony Ward    Thanks for your service and seems like a good idea to plan ahead some...even though you still have a few years....a couple of things I might consider....hopefully you get out fully in tact...but if you think you might have any medical issues and want access to VA healthcare system...you might want to move somewhere there is a VA hospital or keep an eye on how the Community Care program shakes out.

While you're on that, consider the book of Matthew Chapter 10 verse 14, "Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet."

Most investors would laugh or shake their heads at those numbers, but that is the reality of my market.
