You can find some fairly decent deals on the smaller just inland lakes in Oregon ... these are in the Coos Bay area.And in Washington there are all sorts of smaller lakes up in the Tacoma area.REally depends on what you want to do on said lake..

I’ve lived in Manhattan (NYC), Tacoma (WA), Boston, Washington (DC) — none of which appeal to me for real estate investment.  

Too long ago but the asking price was $26,000 for a very nice brick house in the early 70's.Marianne closed, Tacoma Swim Club closed.

In Washington (Tacoma)  a neighbor rented out a house to a nurse.

I informed him he was even if he had to leave on his head, it got very intense, but I won :) the next day her crackhead stepson came over and I told him if he could confine his stepmom to take the public assistance and mover her stuff out by midnight I would give him a hundred dollars.
