It doesn't protect against other individuals infringing on those rights.That being said, I echo the common sentiment that posting "no gun" signs makes you/your property a target, and people that would use a weapon to harm others without justification will possess them anyway. 

Great post, it is interesting assessing sentiment which is ultimately what drives economies.

I do not agree with sentiment that people are leaving etc, agree with points made above about how surveys are skewed. 5th greatest economy in the world, sounds like the pit.. j/k

Neither make the local politicians look good, and just furthers the sentiment that politicians are either dumb or are pushing a shadow agenda.

Or, are most landlords in the "hold firm to the lease" sentiment (which I can respect too)? 

@Todd Powell while I agree with your sentiment, the reality is we can complain and fight change or we can figure out a business model that allows us to survive in the changing economic climate were tenants are asking us to do more for more people with less.

@Nick Troutman id echo the sentiment of caution, but want to add a note to the comment about not getting into multifamily.
