Hi All - I am hoping all the experienced and smart people here can guide me so will cut right to the chase - I have a property in New York City as my primary residence and I want to know if I should pay off the principal faster or keep the loan and save up for another property.Here are the specifics:- Bought the property in Sept 2015 in New York City for $750k- Its a one bed and one bath in doorman building right in midtown Manhattan- Put $150K down as down payment and the loan is at 3.5 % interest rate for 30 yrs- HOA is $666.67 per month or $8,000 per year.- Taxes are $8,800 per year or $733 per month- If I were to rent it, I would get around $3,200 per month.Question is again, Should I pay off the principal faster or keep the loan and save up for another property?
