I want to connect with like minded, motivated, and reliable individuals who have experience and can assist in OOS investing, OR those like me new to this and looking to collaborate.

The best play would be to do what I've seen @Dennis Burian do and grab coffee with some members of the OKC RE community and learn how to maximize collaboration. 

We're not competing against one another, but collaborating. 

Google had advantages for collaboration, but I don’t think that has much value for me.

This makes the transition much more challenging than if you were to just use Excel and Quickbooks in conjunction with free communication/collaboration apps for tenant/owner/internal communication until your generating enough cash flow for an investment in a customizable & scaleable software to make sense.

I might rent to someone, for example, visiting the University (where I work) for a collaboration - where they'd need to stay for a month or two or three.

The power of an abundance mindset, not looking at it like a competition but a collaboration and truly providing value to others is literally worth its weight in gold and this event made me truly realize this in a way I didn’t even know you could realize.
