I am still thankful to the stranger years ago who offered me a pet friendly rental suggestion as I sat on the curb outside the quick mart depressed after a long weekend search for a place.

I would think so...many people are buying homes in bunches out there it kind of a secret gold mine people dont talk about because they dont want other investors hogging the good stuff not only detriot but any place similar desperation and depressiation are the exact formula for getting rich..if it werent for the great depression we would have no warren buffet.

But the area was over 50% foreclosed and is really depressed.

Never took a course - learned from my dad, who started in the Great Depression.

That's all I needed in my building where I also live, a broke depressed guy with a gun!

Stainless steel appliances look depressing and get oily fingerprints that require constant cleaning.During COVID it was impossible to get appliances at Home Depot and Lowes and their was a backlog of 8 weeks.

It is depressing and I don't understand why it has been the fad.We use only Home Depot Behr Linen White Satin finish.

But there's constant police car sirens noise every single day at night (throughout the night) that it's impacting my sleep and making me irritated and depressed. 

This is a snowy depressing midwestern hellscape of dirty, broke, unemployed tenants with 21 dogs and they cook greasy foods and touch all the walls and sit around all day smoking tweeds and trying to stuff q-tips in the drains! 

This promoted home ownership as folks looking to buy would not be subject to the balloon and term loans that term'ed out during the great depression.
