Bet she did not have any mice in there.And what kind of Loony roasts 30 cats.Maybe she let them all out before broiling herself to death.This is why I say rentals should have electric stoves, dryers and water heaters, just one less thing to have to deal with (but nat gas furances).BTW, I think all of the cat escaped out of the blown out windows--they are fast and smart.

I have done demo work,  flooring installations, tiling, drywall finish, using miter and table saw to cut and install baeboards and window sills and building picture frames with scraps, .I built a bar cabinet, an island cabinet around a center island stove, I have ran packer machines that compact the dirt in a foundation before the concrete is poured.Of course painting and sanding and varnishing...replacing electrical plugs and receptacles, hanging light fixturees, replaced plumbing pvc, used all sorts of power tools and saws and LIKED IT!...

I would personally recommend looking for a unit that either has propane included in the HOA dues, or has a pellet stove (or you are planning to put in a pellet stove).

See if you can get a narrower fridge and put it on the wall where the stove is in that space-that is where the fridge should be.
