Even working for free or at a discount to get good experience would be recommended and keep your eye out for operations and situations in your local geographic area where you have an edge.I bet a lot of BPers would agree that the first few years are tough but once you build your reputation and client base, the momentum and pipeline will follow.Finally, why settle at 5k per month?

What I crave is a level of consistency to get some nice smooth momentum as opposed to having 4 projects going on at once and then a few months later only working on 1. 

If you are willing to take a hands-on approach and commit a significant degree of time and energy toward building the right local team and gaining momentum in the first 6-12 months of ownership, then you should find success there.  

It seems when I get a couple of houses I need to sell,  I stop buying while I find a buyer which kills momentum.

I'm just about to start Marketing in the US and expending the team with a Man on the ground, fellow investor from NZ who is moving to the US to keep the momentum going.

I also save the cash flow I get from my properties as well as a portion of my pay from my job to further finance my real estate.There are other ways to expand that are faster, but momentum builds over time.

So far they have successfully gained those units and momentum without losing contracts etc.  

You can't change a neighborhood one house at a time, there has to be a larger momentum.

We probably did over 200 deals nationwide, last month and we're able to maintain this momentum from doing good business and making customer service our #1 priority.
