If there's no owners box- don't worry about this cost.My water bill is semi-annual: you can expect for a 2 family to pay around 500-750 a year depending on how many tenants (the more showers/flushes the more $$$). 

Flush your hot water tank ($0).

I’ve just heard horror stories about renters’ kids flushing toys down the toilet or some nonsense like that.

You might as well just flush it down the drain.

They don't answer their phones; can be very moody in their texting; and the properties, if you get to see them, can be heavily neglected in terms of what that agent could have been doing, (picking up newspapers, making sure there were no burned out light bulbs, flushing the toilet (!).

Either the toilet needs a pot of water to flush it, or there is a roof leak, which could be drywall replacement in the ceiling and mold to deal with. 

I wish I could flush other peoples money down the toilet like these large banks do on a regular basis.Maybe I should take a chill pill also. lol

It took 2 flushes just to get it all down! 

LOTS of reasons:- Stains the walls and ceilings when people smoke inside- Gets inside the carpeting and makes the house smell bad -- really gets into curtains and furniture too- Can make burn holes in carpets- People put them on the counter tops and they wind up causing stains/burn marks- People flush them down the toilet and it causes clogs- Butts litter the ground around the house because smokers seem to think littering butts is okay (when did just throwing a used butt out your car window or anywhere outside on the ground become "okay"???)
