Just as there were a flood of stories of unscrupulous equity traders manipulating the market, supposedly causing the tipping of the market into the tailspin of 2008, I am constantly seeing new (ridiculous) stories and even laws revolving around specific, legitimate, real estate practices.

It is a very competative sector and it varies a lot based on the commodity.If you really want to be a trader then most of the time it woudl make sense to get hired by a company that has an existing business.

There were hundreds of other traders with better/more battle-tested info that you could purchase reasonably.

I am an Energy Trader and my wife works in Tech, and real estate investing has been a part-time job of sorts for us for the past few years.We first got interested in real estate in 2011 because of the dramatic fall in prices that we saw across the country.

One of our student tenants is now working for Trader Joes for $22/hr & is getting loads of overtime, he's trying to recruit a couple more of our tenants.

Chris Chris,My grandfather (mom's side) was a bullion trader, his son (my uncle) has followed in his footsteps.

An amazing correlation, I would not presume a causational line but maybe the bond buyers just understand that it has proven fruitless to fight the FED even Bill Gross the highest profile bond trader lost big when he fought the FED.

It has been great for traders though.
