Corona Virus.... How are you doing?
These are crazy times! I am a teacher in Southern California and school is (likely) done for the year, so I've had the past week to work from home.
I'm 31 years old and had asthma as a child, so I'm a little concerned about getting seriously ill from corona virus.
I am also worried about the economy toppling. Worried about losing my job and my tenants paying their rent. All in all, I will survive this economically, it just may set me back a year or two on my investment and financial goals.
Trying to stay positive, but finding it hard amongst everything that is going on in the world.
Your thoughts on the state of the world BP!?

Hey we're up in our 60's & 70's & we've seen a lot over the years. I've been on a roof most of the week & also finishing a large patio enclosure/addition to stay busy. Ordered all the materials on-line so just waiting for the delivery. So we're staying hands off & away from the crowds swarming the toilet roll aisles or stripping the shelves of Jimi Dean breakfast sausage.
Our tenants are in good shape & some are working from home so we don't see any immediate payment problems. One of our student tenants is now working for Trader Joes for $22/hr & is getting loads of overtime, he's trying to recruit a couple more of our tenants. Then again some of our contractor/self employed friends are starting to feel it financially.
Our home is very large so the wife & I can find some quiet time apart if we need to or we'll head to the Lakehouse to chill in complete isolation. I must admit Happy hour is getting earlier these days & we're usually on FaceTime with the rest of our older empty nest family members as we have the time to catch up.
Stay safe & maintain your sanity :)
