here in Australia on blocks of units (condos) there is often an extra postbox titled "Secretary".

@Adam Gerig , in addition to west coast US, I have several clients that buy here in Indy from Canada, Australia & Hawaii - all have similar markets to the west coast US.

It's possible they think to settle in Florida this year, but next year they may change to settle in.......Australia for example.The NetFlix generation does not want commitment. 

I'm looking at a bunch of condos in Melbourne, Australia and they typically have HOA which is in charge of roof capex and any general building capex outside of anything the is directly located in my prospective unit.

It's based in Australia. but basically they take a bunch of str hosts and and stay at each other's listings and rate them.

My husband just immigrated here from Australia in the beginning of this year, so our long term income is not verifiable in the eyes of the banks.

Australia, UK, Singapore and some of Asia’s emerging economies are also strong real estate markets for the same reason.
