I'll stick with my positive thinking, supportive, mentor group here in Houston with their tens of thousands of units and countless local and national awards and leave all the bloggers and authors to troll the forums and knock people down for succeeding.

While I think wordpress is certainly superior in terms of many features, you're essentially starting from scratch, whereas new bloggers on BiggerPockets have the opportunity for great exposure from the jump -- not only exposure from people, but just as important -- exposure from the search engines.Diana - What specifically are you looking for in terms of advice on getting started, though?

@Shiv Gettu the blogger & podcaster, Paula Pant (Afford Anything) actually did a pretty good job of listing items on her blog a couple years ago.

Read local bloggers. 

One blogger that rents one of her properties as an AirBNB unit cleans the unit herself between clients.

The Delta rep I talked to said the faucets and cartriges are the same from plumbing supply vs box stores, but the stores sometimes stock faucets with plastic drains to lower price--plumbers always say box stores sell crap (mine doesn't, but the bloggers do).  

Are you going to say that the blogger doctored the video?!?!

Bloggers should make securing their blogs a high priority.
