My sympathy meter in these cases is pegged at zero.We have our two measly STR condos and have splurged on exactly one celebratory dinner for the end-of-year meeting with the four of us. 

Nobody wants to believe that, but trust me, a small park with all park owned rentals will eat your lunch and stay around for dinner too.

It'd make for some awkward Thanksgiving dinners to say the least.In any event, good luck with whatever you decide to do. 

If 100% of the reason you are going there and what you are doing (minus like dinner or going out that night, etc.) is real estate based, then use 100% of the per diem amounts if you use those.

It's about 6:45pm now and I'm supposed to meet a few other couples for dinner at 8pm.
