I’m not going to throw the baby out with the bath water, though, and you won’t see me calling anyone names, not the partner who burned me out of nearly $50K on a JV flip, not investors fresh out of seminars who ask me to find them specific deals but freeze up and don’t pull the trigger when I bring them what they ask for, and not even people who try to demean me in a public forum because of my chosen profession.

I always got the feeling that they might be discriminatory towards folks outside their chosen demographic.

If you are not self managing, make sure to see if they can provide you with plenty of referrals of STR hosts that are cost effective and have superhost status.You’ve chosen some great areas!

It looks more like a problem with your chosen target area than with your Realtor.

Thank you for the replies.I have spoken to my insurance, and they say that thus far the claim is simply open and the tenant has chosen to give no information (yet).I did have the stairs fixed, but the house is old and there is a fair amount of disrepair beside that.

I suspect no matter what RE investment path is chosen, the efficiency/profit increases with experience, but I suspect this is more true of new development than other RE investment options.
