Generally, near Pueblo City Park/Zoo is good, near PCCC (on the southwest side of Abriendo), Aberdeen, and the University.

My wife and I purchased a fourplex last May in a near southwest suburb of Chicago. 

After listening to a number of the podcasts and reading through posts in the forum its become clear that keeping the condo is not a particularly savvy investment move.We are looking to overcome the emotional attachment of our first home and roll the approximately $125-150k of equity from the condo into a small multi-family in the Southwest.

I know I'll be looking on the south/west side of the city but I don't wanna get into the dangerous areas of Chicago

I would recommend looking into the Southwest. 93313 area code is a developing area of town.

My apartments and flip are in Berwyn, which is 20 minutes southwest of the loop if that helps.
