My wife and I became accidental landlords of a condo in Downtown Denver in 2011 when we moved to Los Angeles. After listening to a number of the podcasts and reading through posts in the forum its become clear that keeping the condo is not a particularly savvy investment move.

We are looking to overcome the emotional attachment of our first home and roll the approximately $125-150k of equity from the condo into a small multi-family in the Southwest. I am most comfortable with Denver and the Colorado front range but am open to other metro areas including Salt Lake City, Phoneix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego and areas between. I have a particularly strong interest in Fort Collins, CO should anyone have a working knowledge of the area.

I look forward to becoming more involved in the community. Thanks everyone.
