Do most architects have an engineer that they work with on every project?

I worked with a whole lot of investors and ancillary RE professions during that time - engineers, architects, surveyors, utility contractors, etc.

Get a general contractor or better yet an architect or even a home inspector to start.

I was an engineer (avionics SW architect) and have done quite a few BRRRR, so I know the time required and the resulting sacrifices.  

I've written 3 published books, been guests on blogs, featured speaker for 10 years wearing my Architects hat, in charge of education for my local REIC (until it just became way too much time/work), and and at least 10 different articles. 

We did have an amazing architect do the plans, an incredible lender and my staff assisted throughout the entire process for getting documents prepared, planning inspections etc.
