These floors were never finished at all, the bare wood was walked on for 120 years and the floors were black with a century of dirt, dust, grime, etc.We finished the attic into 4 more rooms and had a professional floor refinisher sand the floors and ploy them.

Knowing that people had invested for centuries even at those high past rates, I wonder how this can be a long term game when rates go back to these 80/20 loans.

When you e-mail out a property it could be the “Deal of the Century”, but if it’s in a neighborhood your buyer doesn’t like he or she will not even open it!

Hey @Kenneth Ziembo,I came off of Active Duty in Fall 2010 and got hooked up with Century 21.

I am not too impressed nor dissapointed in their business structuring, though it could be better than the typical 20th century style lol it is not horrible either.

Most properties listed on MLS are not the deals of the century however there are ALWAYS life events that occur that will push one to sell even if they do not think they want to.

You have spent this entire thread basically accusing realtors of perpetrating a MASSIVE FRAUD that has caused the single largest economic downturn in nearly a century...and then you reveal that you are "good friends" with these people?!?!?

Real estate is not rocket science, not hard, the basic functions and concepts are centuries old, there isn't anything "new"!

Or is there a market for restored mid-century homes where you are?
