Plus the cost of living varies significantly...I chose to live in Michigan to try to keep costs like housing, property taxes, etc. down while still getting great schools and outdoor activities.

The city itself is very nice, with lots of options for outdoor activities, restaurants, shopping, etc.

Zoning - You need to have zoning for Outdoor parking/and or outdoor storage.  

Bryson City is a cute little town about 1 hour 15 minutes West of Asheville, home to Great Smoky Mountain Railroad - and also close to Nantahala Outdoors Center.  

From your link, you mention mountain/outdoor lifestyle and being poised for growth, both appreciation and rents.

So if you service 76 sites like I do- they size me for the 4th of july, when they figure EVERY home has EVERY relative and the community looks like a grateful dead outdoor free concert venue.

Now that I have established my career, I can again ask myself what I would do if I could.For me, I love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, etc.
