While that will work, code might require the new 3-prong be grounded via the provided ground terminal on the new outlet, using a jumper wire to the metal box with a ground screw - the problem with that is often the old boxes don't have a ground screw or threads, and you need to tap new threads in each box for the ground screw - super fun.All said, I am not an electrician and this is internet advice!!!
