Hello BP I’m building new construction house, hired painter bid was 15,800 and I buy all material, I paid him 8,000 when job was 80% complete, now I look and horrible quality, they did not putty nail holes on Millwork, can see siding through thin layer of paint, light oversprays on hardwood , cabinets and walls, worse staining job on cedar you will ever see… told him to fix and he paint brushed made it much worse - what do I do?

I wonder, in a "normal" market, or maybe better described as a market not heading on a downward trend - if only static, how many houses over a year to two year's time span are sold for more than the market says they are worth?

The interior coils were brushed cleaner and I ordered a box of blue fiberglass filters and told my tenant to switch to fiberglass until it cools off.

A 3rd party custodian (trust company, generally) is good for static investments that do not require quick funding or much in the way of ongoing maintenance.For investments that are more interactive in nature, a Checkbook IRA LLC or Solo 401k may be the better option.
