I realize a real estate investment is only as good as the investor makes it through due diligence but if crowdfudning is anything close to the hype where would a beginner start in researching deals?

Then getting caught up with marketing hype of these deals.

I bought into the hype of gentrification and saw all units have families ect.

@Donald DooleyPersonally I find it extremely risky as many do not have monies for necessary repairs.I also view it as “over hyped”, as it’s not as frequent as people think.

I'm intrigued by the potential that is out there but am having a challenge in filtering through the hype that comes with every "system" or "guru" out there.

I did the 3 day mini bootcamp thing like 6-7 years ago.I agree that it won't do much for someone with more than a modicum of experience but if you are new you will learn some stuff and will get you hyped up.So back then I got some useful info out of it and they actually gave a pretty extensive amount of audio training and workbooks (Probably will give you a bunch of downloads now) too that were quite good.

New investors believe the hype, etc.

Although it is easy to get mixed in all the hype, I felt it best to get out and make my life and the sellers life a lot easier.But, now that I have proved to myself that I can get a $258,000 house under control, I know that I possess what it takes to make it happen.

When I walked out of the closing - I thought to myself "really", that was all the hype and sleepless nights was for?
