Perhaps, flipping is not best suitable, and rental properties with property managers is my thing - long term, stable projects ....

To add: you have a historically strong and consistent tourism presence, limited land/STR allowable areas, highly liquid property compared to selling a cabin in the woods, all 9 classes of visitors in the STR sector, and appreciation.  

They purchase properties, rehab, or build with the hope of increasing the value, and then find themselves holding onto these projects and renting them out when they can't find another suitable investment.

But an even bigger reason why the numbers are skewed is that a huge chunk of the overall crime is committed by the 19 million visitors to Myrtle Beach each year (think drunk driving, drug possession, etc) and of course tourists don't get factored into the full-time resident population. 

How do I find off market deals and wholesalers that can find me suitable properties in need of renovations to purchase?

On one hand, the casino could draw in a lot of tourists and visitors, which might boost demand for STRs in the area.

@Spencer CuelloVanamor Investments - We provide mostly 506b offerings which allows accredited and non-accredited investors but non-accredited investors need to be what's considered sophisticated so we'll typically look to build a relationship first through phone calls and meetings so that we can assess the suitability.
