Don't think, just because a package looks polished and well put together, and there is a actual business behind the reps marketing it that it makes it a legitimate deal.  

These floors were not in terrible shape to begin with and they needed what is called "buff and polish".

Yes, the janitor's buffer is the equipment...with the proper pad and chemicals for stripping, and proper wax and polishing pad for getting the high gloss back.

It's polished for sure, but felt fairly genuine IMHO.

Not a flooring guy, but I had some tile glued onto basement floor concrete where the guy that took up the tiles used some kind of machine (looked a bit like a floor polisher) that heated the tile so that the glue loosened and then the scrape was easier.
