Corp or personal guarantees?

AB1482 states that "single-family homes/condos (residential real property that is alienable separate from the title to any other dwelling unit) are exempt from AB 1482 if (1) the owner is not a real estate investment trust, a corporation, or a limited liability company in which at least one member is a corporation and (2) the owner provides the tenant with a written notice of the exemption"The part that is confusing is "...a corporation, or a limited liability company in which at least one member is a corporation."

Ziad, do you have any experience with a US corporation owned 100% by non US people?

Start with a business organizations/corporate attorney. 

As our portfolio grew, we were intentional about keeping our profile personal rather than corporate.

Not to say an attorney will be able to pierce the corporate veil, but they will certainly try, anyways.I am an Ohio resident, and I did my own and my wife's directly though the secretary of state.  

While the tech sector is growing rapidly, it's complementing rather than replacing other strong industries.
