when running supply through attic, 2017 Florida Building Code - Residential requires only hot to be insulated, but make sure you insulate the cold also (attic is 140 F in summers).Code allows a pan for water heaters - in Florida, we add a pipe from the hole on the side and run it horizontally thru an exterior wall, similar to a condensation pipe drain.

I'll go back and look at compiled lists and try to prioritize which ones to read.Personally, I feel a lot of the new books are full of fluff and could be condensed to a couple chapters and still make their points.

Here is why...When the installers install heat pumps there is a condensing unit outside, and an indoor unit inside (usually in the attic) and you have copper pipes (lineset) that run from the outside up the inside of the wall to the inside unit located in the attic or closet somewhere in the house.
