Do I go sit in a board room by myself and discuss these things?

I borrowed that exoression from my friend Brian Kurtz who runs marketing at Boardroom Publishing (Bottom Line Newsletter). 

My decision to shift gears over to real estate is because I trust myself to manage my investment more than I trust some group of people in a boardroom somewhere. 

Even with the discounted benefit of non-recourse lending I feel that REI is advantaged to the stock market and I get the added benefit of control over my asset versus turning it over to a boardroom or a CEO that may or may not align with my goals.  

from your boardroom? 

Bryan, a key man policy (it may be called key person now to be politically correct since we have ladies in the board room, but it was always called a "key man" policy) was a specialty of mine years ago.

In my previous corporate life in one of our board rooms we had a picture that stated: "In god we trust; all others bring data." - needless to say this got drilled into me for many years.

The talk in boardrooms right now is about mental health consequences of WFH as well as Covid-19therapeutics, vaccines etc and how the office will look like then.

Just think when you purchase stocks, you aren't invited into the board room of the companies.
