I have seen some turned into jewelry stores, camera display store, restaurant speakeasy type thing, Fed Ex shipping type place, etc. 

If I had $100k to bring into the states I'd likely just buy a $100k piece of jewelry and take a prearragned hit when selling it back. 

No jewelry.

Many did mill and factory work- jewelry and textile so you see the multifamily in places like Central Falls, Pawtucket, parts of Providence, Cranston, West Warwick, etc.

@Matt K.Mostly small medical bills but also utilities and jewelry, one of them did have 2 car loans super late.

I'll be doing a combination of all three.Of course @Lesley Resnick recommends expensive jewelry, but I think that may get me in trouble with my wife!

One even asked me to list assets like cars, furs, jewelry on the application.  

@Collin Schwartz , that's at the same time you can go shopping at the jewelry store! 

The quotes I have included a bunch of silly things on them like "jewelry" protection which seems nuts.
