What's an appropriate gift for your agent?
Realtors spend lots of time and effort on their clients, never knowing whether it will actually pay off. In my case, my agent's efforts are not going to pay off (at least not immediately) because I have decided to change my strategy. I know that the time agents invest in their clients can be considered just the cost of doing business. But I'd really like to do something to express my gratitude for the time they have put in--and the knowledge they have imparted on me. Is a gift even appropriate? If so, do you have suggestions?

A gift is nice, but the best gift is referring your agent to other people. You could also send him a letter of recommendation, and leave positive reviews on internet sites. If you really want to win an agent's loyalty compensate him something for his time, you can't put a gift in your gas tank!
