You can hire a VA from the Philippines, many which have a great handle on the English language and some can even turn on an American accent.

Hi BiggerPockets Landlords,I just picked up a small fourplex in rural CA and after speaking to two of the tenants already on the phone, one speaks no English, so a child was translating for me.

Any tips on investing and managing rentals in neighbourhoods that are predominantly non-English speaking?

The elderly lady, who doesn't speak good English, got frightened, didn't want to get into trouble with the IRS, gave the tenant a year's free rent.BTW, I have quite a few prospective tenants who tried to convince me to take cash rent payments, pointing out that I don't have to report it, so the elderly lady landlords problem didn't sound that strange.

find a spanish speaking real estate agent. they often have access to both english and spanish apps. kudos,Mary

My employment background is in aviation I worked on F/A-18E jet engines in the Navy and then got out and have been doing that as a civilian so about eight years of that.

Post a pay or quit in English and Spanish and don't back down.
