A few other suggestions:  Set goals together, for your life together - once RD,PD gets you both on the same mental wavelength... setup a nice lunch/dinner together and open a conversation about goals for your life together.

You go to a great restaurant and have a good dinner, you might post it on Yelp. 

My local one is run by an investor/broker and they meet in the back room of a restaurant and they serve dinner at the meeting.

I own a landscape business and work from 7AM-5PMOnce home I make dinner do kids homework and off to the office to do paper work for a couple hours until shower & bed time.

I took my wife and some friends out on my boat for a little dinner cruise a couple of days ago (on a Monday evening).

It could be a realtor I met at a showing, a title agent at a closing, a friend I see once a month at a dinner party and we talk for a few minutes, or someone at the bank.

Missing dinner with the kids, having breakfast with them in the morning, coming home for lunch if you want wont happen if you are stuck in traffic or on a train.Living in a Duplex is giving up some of your privacy even if you live substantially rent free.
