I have a ton of Home Depot and Lowe's receipts that I have no idea if the materials are paint or cabinets etc.

I plan to hire a smaller contractor to handle the job and purchase the materials for them, also probably sub out items they are not good at like landscaping and concrete repair.

Surprisingly, many of these things aren't covered in the beginner material.

How much in labor or materials and what are you doing for that?

The first recommendation I give to anyone taking the class is read the material before class.

For $5-6k you probably could get the place painted and pay for materials for flooring if you're using a contractor.In all reality without seeing the place but it needing kitchen, (probably bath too), flooring and paint you're looking more around $20-25k
