We have been using Apartment.com for years now and yes, that's normal for bank ACH. 

Lemme get this straight: You want to belly-ache that an owner wasn't stupid enough to leave money on the table for you to pick up.

I would suggest having at least two banks:A major national bank that will provide good services like Zelle to receive payment, good online banking with free ACH between accounts, cheap wire transfer fee, good credit card, ...

I use Avail, I only accept ACH direct deposit transfers. 

But I don't want to go to a doctor until I know what I'm sick with, and what the right medicine is.

It's now Dec. 28th and it's still not resolved.Another tenant who used to pay me thru Zelle (to avoid RentRedi's $1 fee on ACH transaction) decided to pay using credit card this month as he did not have money in his bank account.

Anyway, regardless of how frustrating it might be it is always less of a hassle to do it the right way first than having to go through all of the hard-ache the other way.  

Tenants schedule payments like a bill pay service, which uses ACH transactions.

Does credit card and ach payments, by far the best move for me.

Since it was a ch 7, he should have made arrangements within the plan to pay lease payments.
