Contractors like our company would come back and do touch up, fix minor leaks/defects etc... no matter no cheap/expensive the project is. 

After full performance, the buyer may receive defective title or no title at all, although normally the contract will require delivery of a policy of title insurance.

It's important that a home inspector keeps his opinions to himself and reports only the material defects that he finds with the understanding that if he becomes a deal killer his phone will eventually stop ringing as REALTORS recommend home inspectors to their clients.

I think it has to do with the construction defects laws.

Good Day & Merry Christmas David M.I have mixed feeling related to credit repositories & there benefits to the general public; but not to the banks, lenders or regulators or to credit or service companies that report to them to position themselves to assure collection, even for marginal or defective performance or services.We also have never reported any rent/lease payments to them for fear of starting an expansion of "Control" by either banks (lenders) or government.
